I have never seen a more dizzying array of luxurious and stunning amenities in a casino city before.
The list of features, posh luxuries, hotel rooms dripping in grandeur, infinity pools, A-list celebrity appearances, mega-sized state-of-the-art casino and gourmet food is just simply breath-taking.
They are forward-thinking and adaptable.
This mega-city accepts cryptocurrencies, has a vegan ice-cream parlor and a Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge.
It is as if the owners sat down with the planners and architects and did a poll on Tiktok with all the cool kids, and actually took in their opinions!
Love how they still stick to their Malaysian roots and included an “old-world glamour” Cantonese eatery. Anyone who has been to Genting highlands will know what I mean.
Growing up, I was like any kid, excited with toad trips to Genting Highlands and looked forward to the theme parks and awesome food there.
Growing older, I start to admire their business acumen and adaptability.
I am a tremendous fan of how Genting group managed to continue steering the gigantic ship to new waters. First the casinos, then the family-inclusive theme parks, then the absolutely mind-blowing luxury cruises.
Now, they have brought their presence into the heart of Las Vegas and made us South-East Asians so proud.
Way to go!
I look forward to seeing Genting blossom and give back, in every way they can.
