“In a fight, who wins — the smart guy or the crazy guy?”

You gotta love the guy.

Masayoshi Son: In a fight, who wins — the smart guy or the crazy guy?

Adam Neumann: the crazy guy of course.

Masayoshi Son: Correct, but you are NOT crazy enough!!

Adam Neumann goes full 100% batshit crazy and tanks the company.

“After years of propaganda and leading the charge for others to invest billions into WeWork, Son is apparently championing to remove Adam because he was TOO CRAZY.”

We all know the Wework story.

Chasing valuation, unhealthy hype, cult-like behaviors, mindless spending on luxuries and secretive dealings led to Adam’s downfall.

“In a 2016 meeting where Neumann somberly addressed laying seven percent of WeWork’s staff off before inviting a member of Run DMC into the room to perform “It’s Tricky” while trays of tequila were passed around.”

He also proclaimed that he wanted to be the prime minister of Israel one day.

He even cashed out $700m before the IPO, against protocol and raising eyebrows.

Be careful what you wish for people.

It might just come true.

And in Masayoshi’s case, it was a $18.5 billion mistake.

So do you still think the crazy guy would have won the fight?

Yes?

No?

Maybe / undecided?

Or perhaps it is time to start asking the right questions.

Who were the ones responsible for letting this mad hatter loose?

Who were the ones who could have said or done something, and didn’t?
