The brand is easily worth north of $10 billion.

Just how big is Jordan’s brand? In short: it accounted for nearly $5B of Nike’s sales in 2020.

To put into perspective, Under Armour (UA), yup, the one Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock reps for, made a total of only $5.3B.

That means Nike sold an entire UA worth of products under Jordan’s brand!

Jordan may have left the NBA in 2003, but nearly 20 years later, his brand and legend still grows stronger.

How do you design a brand that can endure the test of time?

A brand that can live through the good times and bad?

An icon for kids growing up watching him play, resonating so strongly with what he represents and his fighting spirit.

People have been shot over Jordans.

The news absolutely love talking about it.

Jordans have become iconic in sneaker lore.

There’s probably a thousand factors or none, contributing to the amazing Jordan brand.

Perhaps its because he was one of the best to ever played basketball or the 6 rings or that he was the media’s darling.

Whatever it may be, you can bet there was some serious work ethic, hardcore dedication and commitment.

Then again, there is that pair of Kanye West’s Yeezys that sold for $1.8m.

Go figure.
