Avatar, released in 2009, and broke the record in 2010, still holds the record for the highest grossing movie of all time, after 12 years.

James Cameron took 4 tedious years to do Avatar.

That must be a record in some ways.

Everyone was scratching their heads and some laughed at him.

Guess no one is laughing now.

Avatar broke Titanic’s record that stood for 13 years.

I wonder if Avatar 2 will be able to even come close to that.

Oh and both Avatar and Titanic were done by James Cameron.

For a professional filmmaker, he really doesn’t do a lot of film.

But with the few he has, 2 remain the top grossing films of all time.

That, is something you really don’t see everyday.

He really is the Picasso or Monet of modern film in our generation.

3 of Disney’s top hits came in 2019: Endgame, The Lion King, Frozen II.

In 2019, Disney had 7 movies that grossed over a billion dollars.

That’s Endgame, The Lion King, Frozen II, Captain Marvel, Toy Story 4, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Aladdin.

The highest grossing animated movie of all time is Frozen.

Who would have know kids’ fables and snowmans would be so profitable?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 had the highest earnings to cost ratio.

They raked in $10.73 for every $1 spent making the movie.

That’s a 10x return.

Wow.

If you enjoyed this, wait for part 2.
