That is exactly what The Rock did.
He turned his sweat equity (quite literally) and his branding into an empire of businesses.
How will he become a celebrity Billionaire?
Starting his own businesses.
Specifically, in the alcohol industry.
It is a little ironic, given how The Rock is famous for being athletic, healthy and a huge fitness freak.
He literally brings his entire make-shift gym (every piece of weight, equipment and tool) with him, wherever he goes filming.
It is called Iron Paradise.

Teremana Tequila.
Apparently it is tasty and flying off the shelves.
If anyone has tried it personally, let me know how it compares with the other popular Tequilas.
He owns a large part if it and its been blowing up in sales.
The first year of its launch, Teremana sold 300k cases.
A case is just 12 bottles of Tequila and each bottle is about $30.
George Clooney founded Casamigos Tequila in 2013 and sold to Diageo in 2017 for $1B.
That’s a whopping Billion dollars for 5 years of work.
Conor McGregor started Proper No. Twelve Whiskey in 2019.
He sold a large part of it for $600m in 2021.
Reportedly, he earned more than $250m in less than 3 years, from his whiskey business.
For comparison, his career earnings as a professional fighter bagged him only $215m.
I guess selling alcohol even while sleeping beats getting punched in the face anytime.
I have never tasted any of these drinks, but it does seems like a powerful formula for the rich and famous to step up to the next level.
George Clooney did it.
Conor McGregor did it.
I guess next is Dwayne?
Some estimates show that Teremana could be hitting 600k cases a year and en route to a $3.5B valuation.
That would easily make The Rock a Billionaire.
