Probably one of the most successful social media influencers of our generation.

You probably have heard of Supercar Blondie before. But do you know her real name and how she got so famous?

She has 1.2 billion views on Tiktok, 44m Facebook followers, 9.5m Instagram followers, 6.9m YouTube subscribers and 73k Twitter followers.

In short, she is a social media goddess of views and likes.

She is killing it in the male-dominated automobile and luxury industry.

Let me break down how she got there and 3 critical things we can all learn from her.

Lesson #3

Majority wins — she appeals to the masses and ignores the haters.

If you ever heard or seen any of her videos, you would know she doesn’t speak in jargon or goes too deeply into the technical details.

Top Gear and Jay Leno really dive into the details like what kind of carburettor and why the spokes on a racing rim matters.

They are technical, methodical and appeals to a different group of viewers, who wants the education and enjoys the deep science of automobiles.

Other content creators focus on unique imagery, awesome visuals and professionally-done car cinematography.

Supercar Blondie walks another path.

She simplifies.

She understands that her role is to expose cool cars to non-car people.

She wants to reach out to the people who knows nothing about cars.

She is smart.

She could probably get technical and learn the details if she wanted to.

Her target audience is the simple majority, the masses, the hoi polloi.

That was her strategy and it kinda works!

Of course that means she is sometimes known for being click-baity and haters saying she “knows nothing about cars”, but that is part of the package with being so famous.

At the end of the day, she identifies her audience, guns for it and the masses made her who she is today.

An ok strategy well executed, is far better than an excellent plan never validated.

Attention is the name of the game.

With millions following her on her socials, she definitely knows how to create content for the masses and strategically builds on the hype each time.

She knows how and where to get the most attention on social media.
