To be brutally honest, you can replace the word “success” in the picture with virtually anything worth accomplishing, and it would still make a lot of sense.
The road to success is never a straight path.
We think those influencers and YouTubers with millions of followers got there in a day or because of 1 video clip.
We see the iPhone now and think Steve Jobs envisioned this state-of-the-art omnipotent magical device in his mind before anyone else can dream.
We see Bolt run a record 100m and say he is genetically gifted.
What we should realize is the sacrifice needed.
Not just the absence of pleasures and luxuries like skipping a fancy meal or not hanging out with friends for wine and beer.
But the singular desire to cancel and blocks out everything else but the few steps needed to achieve your goal.
It is really, truly difficult.
So ask yourself, what sacrifices have you made recently for your goal?
