Since he became the unofficial King of Twitter, he has the track record of making huge announcements on his Twitter feed first.
That tweet has 51k retweets and more than 320k likes.
He actually kept his promise.
Back in Dec 2021, he tweeted about “Tesla will make some merch buyable with Doge & see how it goes”.
A man of his word.
What a joy.
Though it is apparent that his effect on markets is both powerful and scary.
He CAN move markets with a tweet.
The last time he tweeted about Dogecoin in 2020, it skyrocketed beyond belief.
Yes, the crypto market is prone to manipulation and there is a lot of new-found hype.
But that does not mean crypto will not endure into the future.
I belief crypto has a place in the future for all of us.
Elon doing this thing is just another small step towards that future.
And he is serious.
Some of the items can only be purchased in Doge.
Can you imagine how many people would get into crypto, learn about Doge, set up a wallet, buy Doge and actually purchase Tesla’s gifts?
Today its gift shop items, tomorrow it might be $100k Tesla cars.
When the world’s richest man and most valuable automobile company takes crypto seriously, everyone should too.
