What is proof of work vs proof of stake?

PoW vs PoS. Its more complicated than you think.

Explain to me like I am a 10 year old. What is proof of work vs proof of stake?

Try it. Its really a lot harder than you think.

It is said that PoW is inherently more secure than PoS but even that is debatable. They have different uses but largely for cryptography.

Interestingly, PoS reportedly will consume 99% less energy than PoW, simply because it doesn’t require the tremendous amount of computing power.

I just find it fascinating that #humans thought up something like these!
